Toolbars vs. Full Screen Mode

To enter full screen mode, tap the white X on the bottom-right of your screen. To get your toolbars back, simply tap the bottom-right corner of the screen to exit full screen mode. While in full screen mode, you can tap bottom-left corner to go back on a site, or tap the home icon to return to the home screen.

Getting Fox News Radio to work in the background

To be able to listen to Fox News Radio while using other apps, when you tap on the Fox News Radio icon, tap on the action button followed by "Open in Safari". As soon as the radio starts playing, you can press the Home button to quit the app and start using other apps. Consider getting our "5-0 Radio" if you want more radio stations like these.

Top Sites

This lists the top sites of your choosing. If you tap on "Settings", you can choose how many of your top sites to display. If you tap on "Edit/Sort", you can choose which sites will display in the top sites. When you are sorting the top sites, you can tap on a site to send it to the top of the list. Make sure that you only delete the sites that you want to delete, because after you delete a site, it will only return after you delete and reinstall the app (there is no extra charge for doing that).

Offline Bookmarks

To add a bookmark, tap on the + button and then "Add Bookmark". Now enter the name of the bookmark you wish to add. Then press "Save". Each bookmark you add in this app will appear as an icon on the home screen. When you are offline or in Airplane Mode, you can read your bookmarks without an internet connection. Bookmarks can be sorted by tapping on the "Edit" button when looking at the bookmarks section. Simply tap and hold the three grey bars while in Edit mode to move the bookmarks around.

Optimized Browsing

Optimized browsing allows you to turn any non-mobile website into a fast-loading iPhone-friendly website. When you encounter a website that is loading too slowly or the fonts are too small to read, then simply tap on the white plus icon, and then tap on "Optimized Browsing". It will even work if the page has not finished loading yet.

Lock Orientation/Prevent Rotation

To lock the website to a certain orientation, tap on the "Lock" icon in the toolbar so that it turns blue. Now the website will not rotate when you rotate your device. Tap on the "Lock" icon again to unlock the orientation and allow the website to be rotated again.

Tilt Scrolling

To enable tilt-scrolling, tap on the Action button on the toolbar, and then tap on "Tilt Scroll Settings". To enable it, tap on the "Tilt Off" button. It should change to a blue "Tilt On" button. By default, the website will scroll when your device is not perpendicular to the ground. To change this, first move your device to the desired reading angle, and then tap on "Calibrate". On the bottom-left is the sensitivity/speed settings. If you feel that the site scrolls too much or too fast, lower the number so that it is close to 0, but not 0. Setting the number higher will make the site scroll faster. Setting the number to a negative number will reverse the direction of the scrolling. Tapping the white "X" will close the settings and still allow you to tilt-scroll until you reopen the settings to turn it off and reload the website.

Sharing Pages

To share a webpage with your friends, tap on the white plus icon, and then tap on "Share this Page". Tap on any of the links and login if required. After you login, you can share your link on that website. To share a page by email, tap on "Mail Link to this Page" instead of "Share this Page".

Setting a New Homepage

If you wish to go to a certain website when you start this app, simply go to the website you want as your new homepage, tap on the white plus icon, and then tap on "Set as Homepage". You can still go to the page with all the news sites by tapping on the Home icon at anytime. You can reset your homepage by tapping on the Home icon and setting it as your homepage. You can also go to the new homepage at anytime by tapping on the "Go to Homepage" button.

Instapaper Integration

If you go to instapaper.com, you can sign up to save and read bookmarks using a web browser on your computer. Once you have registered, tap on the "Instapaper User" button on the top of the home screen, enter your user information and tap "Save". You can change your username/password at anytime by repeating these steps. Once you have done this, you can press the Action button on the toolbar, followed by "Read Later on Instapaper", to send a link of the current site you are viewing to your Instapaper account.
